The All Progressives Congress vice presidential candidate Kashim Shettima provided a justification for his decision to wear sneakers to the Nigerian Bar Association Conference on Monday in Lagos State, BRANDNEWSDAY report.
Shettima, who represented the APC at the event as Bola Tinubu’s spokesperson, received flak on social media for donning gym shoes with a black suit and red tie.
Both Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party, and Atiku Abubakar, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, were present.
In a video seen by BRANDNEWSDAY on Thursday, the former governor of Borno State, Shettima, justified his decision to wear shoes to the event.
