StarTimes Reveals E-Shopping Platform, Describes Its As ‘StarTimes GO’
StarTimes, digital Pay-TV Company has launched an interactive e-shopping platform of premium section named “StarTimes GO” for its customers.
Brandnewsday understands that the StarTimes’s StarTimes GO’ e-shopping platform is for customers to access top shopping experience at the comfort of their homes.
It was revealed that the company took the step due to the prevailing circumstances that have forced many houses across the African continent to adopt the new methods of living and the necessity to practise safety precautions while living in a healthy environment during this coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, the newly announced e-shopping service programme using a “Better Life, Let’s Go” as the tag, will be displayed on StarTimes Channels, with the no-touch “Top” shopping experience through integrated services like; TV, Online, Phone-Call and its online streaming platform, StarTimes ON.
However, the programme will cover all the Sub Saharan Africa using Uganda and Kenya as the navigating countries.
Speaking on the initiative, StarTimes noted that “it is obvious that Nigerians have been asked to stay at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and given the concerns of our loyal customers who will like to do some shopping at this critical period, the newly e-shopping service platform “StarTimes Go” will be available for customers to choose their preferred items while encouraging social distancing and the spread of COVID-19”.
The company noted that “The e-shopping service will have frequently displays of smart types of equipment such as TV set, solar power system and decoder, and the category will be expanded gradually.
Explaining further, StarTimes company noted that “The hosts of the programme will explain the features, quality, and the usage of each product displayed without having physical contacts with the salesperson. And aside from the safety consideration, what makes your choice even wiser is that most products available are priced lower than market price”
