Date Emerges For Tyson Fury Vs Anthony Joshua Fight (See Date)
Tyson Fury’s promoter, Bob Arum, has disclosed that there will be a new date fixed for Anthony Joshua and his client’s fight, as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to disrupt sporting events worldwide.
Brandnewsday reports that Fury promoter Arum while speaking with IFL TV made this known that the former date will be ignored for the fight between his client and fellow British boxer. Adding that both boxers are winners.
Fury and Joshua are both on the trail for a unification fight after their next contests against their strong contenders, Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev, respectively.
Recall that Fury knocked out American fighter, Deontay Wilder, in the 7th round at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA, in their rematch last February to retrieve the WBC world heavyweight title.
Joshua also threw out Mexican-American boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr, in their rematch in Saudi Arabia last December.
The rematch came after the Mexican-American boxer knocked out AJ in last year June.
However, Arum believes both Fury and Joshua will fight against each other next year in January or February once everything is back to normalcy.
Speaking with the IFL TV. Arum said: “Joshua and Fury are the winners.”.
“No great catastrophe, they will fight sometime next year in January or February 2021.”
