JAMB Registers 1,837,011 Candidates For 2022 UTME/DE, As Registration Ends details can be accessed below.
BrandNewsDay Nigeria reports that JAMB has revealed that about 1,837,011 candidates have been registered in the ongoing UTME/DE registration as of March 26th, 2022.
This online Newspaper platform confirmed that JAMB made this disclosure in the weekly bulletin of the board. Prospective candidates are to note that the registration for 2022 UTME has ended on March 26th, 2022.
Notably, the number of registered candidates this year shows an increase when compared to the total of 1,338,687 candidates registered for the 2021 JAMB registration. Meanwhile, the examination board registered about 2.1 million candidates in 2020 (pre-NIN and Covid era).
It was gathered that a good number of candidates who were willing to register for the exam were unable to do so before the deadline due to various issues. The board had earlier announced that there will not be any extension due to the fact that the board is working within the strict timeline allocated for the exam.
The UTME mock exam, which is the major event on the JAMB schedule is expected to commence on 9th April 2022.
