The exchange rate between the Naira to US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded showed that the naira opened at ₦416.03 per dollar Today Friday, April 15, 2022, after the dollar to naira yesterday – Thursday, April 14, 2022, closed at ₦416.05 per $1. This represents a change of 0.01%.
Notably, the CBN dollar to naira rate, the apex bank buys the dollar at ₦414.03 rate and sells it at the rate of ₦416.03.

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), in its latest data released, disclosed that oil output dropped to an average of 1.24 million barrels per day (bpd) from 1.25 million in February 2022.
According to the regulatory commission, the data released represents a 0.80 per cent decrease from the previous month, representing the lowest production capacity so far in the year.
