The local currency opened at N572.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the dollar to naira black market, today Lagos Nigeria, Today Thursday, February 10, 2022, after it closed at N571.00 per $1 on Wednesday, 9th February.
On a similar note, Naira closed slightly higher at the parallel market last Friday, 4th February 2022, closing at N568/$1 compared to N569/$1 recorded in the previous trading session.
This is according to information obtained from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators interviewed by Brand News Day Nigeria at the Lagos Island market, Lagos, Nigeria last Friday. The player disclosed that the Naira closed slightly higher at the parallel market exchange rate as a result of an increase in demands for FX.
The local currency opened at N572.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market on Thursday, 10 February 2022, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed N571.00 per $1 on Wednesday morning, February 9, 2022.
Meanwhile, as the Nigerian Naira falls further at the black market Lagos, Nigeria on Tuesday and Wednesday, closing at N572. This represents a change of 1$ against the previous trading date, closing at N572.
Brand News Day, in its latest survey at the Lagos Island Black Market, which is operated by Bureau De Change (BDC) confirms that the current Dollar to Naira exchange rate today is N572.
This is the second time in a week that the Naira falls at the black market, despite readjusting Dollar To Naira by CBN.
