Global Warming: Rotary Plants More Trees To Save Planet Earth (PHOTOS)

Rotary Club of Algbado in her usual way of ensuring the world is a better place for all to live in has planted trees at Isoto area of Alagbado community to save the planet earth from the rising global warming crises.

According to the president of the club, Rotarian Adeola Owolabi who led members of the club to the project site made known that the club is keen at ensuring a quality environment and a better atmospheric condition of the community is one of the club’s plans for the new Rotary year.

Noting that Rotary has added this as another avenue of service which trees planting projects is now one of the newly introduced avenues of service and that is what the club is executing on the day.

Rotary:

“Today we are planting trees again in this community and this will not be the first time our club will be doing this. Previously, we planted sets of trees at Benefactor Avenue off AIT Road and we are proud to see out trees growing bigger”, he said.

Speaking on other plans of the club for the new Rotary Year, Adeola said the club will still ensure it covers areas of health, education and other avenues of service.

“This is not the only project we have at hand and we are glad our schools are gradually coming back to life. Soon we shall visit them and spread our hands of fellowship to them”.

“We understand the new normal trend and how COVID-19 has changed a lot of things. All our plans and projects fit into the next future to come and most especial the digital and IT improvements of our public secondary school”, he concluded.
