The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Friday appointed the Rivers State Governor, Nyeson Wike as the Chairman of its Edo State Governorship Campaign Council.
The PDP NWC appointed Governor Wike alongside Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri as his deputy of the Edo State Governorship Council.
Reacting to his appointment, Wike appreciated the party for selecting him to lead the Edo campaign. Adding that he was fully prepared for the job. Continue HERE.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday alleged that the All Progressive Congress (APC) intend to cause mayhem as Kano State Governor, Abdullah Ganduje will chair the Edo State governorship election.
APC has appointed a 49-member National Campaign Council for the Edo State governorship election using Ganduje, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to lead the election.
Senator Uzodinma was appointed Deputy Chairman and Abbas Braimoh as the Secretary.
Reacting to this development, PDP has dragged the ruling APC to have chosen Ganduje, Uzodinma and Bello to derail the September 19 Edo State governorship election. Continue HERE.
Edo State election approaches, following an error on Governor Godwin Obaseki‘s National Youth Service Corps Certificate (NYSC), the commission has issued a new certificate to him.
Brandnewsday reports that NYSC has corrected the long controversial discharge certificate of the incumbent governor of Edo State, it has corrected the error and has issued a new certificate to him.
