President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa indefinitely following what is described as weighty allegations of abuse of office.

BrandNewsDay reports that the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been suspended by President Tinubu over some ‘weighty allegations of abuse of office’.

This is following the suspension of the immediate ex-governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele and the NNPC boss, Mele Kyari respectively, the EFCC has joined the league.
