Brand News Day Nigeria reports that a pound is bought at the official market at ₦508.2804 and sold for ₦509.8806.

According to the data obtained from the CBN website, the exchange rate between the Nigerian naira and the British Pounds opened at ₦498.85/£1 on Thursday 21st July 2022, after it sold at the rate of ₦498.8 to £1 on Wednesday, 20 July 2022.
The exchange rate for a pound to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) – Pounds exchanged for as low as ₦750 and as high as ₦753 on Thursday morning, July 21, 2022, after it sold at the rate of ₦750 to a £1 on Wednesday, 20th July 2022, according to sources at the Bureau De Change (BDC).
Meanwhile, BDC players buy Pounds Sterling at the rate of ₦745/750 and sell to investors/ buyers at the rate of ₦753.
