Brand News Day reports that NPower through the NASIMS management on Friday has commenced NPower Batch C February 2022 Stipend Payment.
This online news platform gathers that despite the Npower Batch C having been hit by a backlog of unpaid Stipends, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development have promised to sort out all outstanding backlog paid.
Among such efforts is the commencement of processes for the payment of February 2022 Stipends by the Ministry.
The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has today announced that it has initiated payment of February 2022 Stipend to the Batch C Stream Npower beneficiaries, which would be processed by the beneficiaries’ banks, and would drop into their Bank accounts shortly.
The January 2022 Stipend Payment to the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries which was slowed down by the Easter Holidays has touched down the bank accounts of many of the Batch C Npower beneficiaries, paving way for the initiation of the February 2022 Stipend Payment.
NASIMS has assured that all outstanding Stipends owed to the Npower beneficiaries would be paid completely as backlogs, urging them to remain patient while the Ministry processes their payments and Banks credit their Bank Accounts.
The Npower Management however noted that not minding the pile-up of backlogs of unpaid Stipend, it would process the outstanding payments one after the other in order to prevent network glitches that may further delay the Stipend payment to the beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, the month of April 2022 marks the eighth month of the one year Batch C Npower Programme which brings the winding up of the Batch C Stream 1 duration to only four months left.
However, the Batch C Stream 2 of about 490,000 Npower beneficiaries is yet to commence the one year Npower Programme.
