1. Gunmen have reportedly invaded a mosque at Soyoye, in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, where they kidnapped an Inspector of Police and two other worshippers. A source said the abductors had contacted the families of the victims, demanding an N5 million ransom for each victim.

An informed hotel source said that the incident happened around 3:15 pm, on Sunday, shortly after the two of them paid for a short rest at the hotel located at Oke-Ado in Ibadan.
10. The Presidency, on Sunday, in Abuja faulted the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum for declaring the All Progressives Congress unfit to participate in the 2023 general elections.
