BREAKING: Lagos LG Chairman, Oke Lost Battle To Coronavirus

The Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State, Babatunde Oke has given up the ghost, in the early hour of Wednesday, Brandnewsday confirms.

The late chairman passed away today, 12 August 2020 after a brief illness.

According to a source close to the family confirmed the development, DAILY POST reports.

Meanwhile, the late chairman was said to have allegedly died from coronavirus complications.

Babatunde Oke

Oke had been ill but suffered a relapse not long after he recovered.

The deceased was a second term council chairman and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
