Nigerian Breweries Plc Notifies of The Resignation of Mr. Atedo N.A. Peterside From Its Board

Nigerian Breweries Plc (“the Company”) hereby informs The Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public of the receipt from Mr. Atedo N.A. Peterside, a notice of resignation from the Company’s Board of Directors (“the Board”).

Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, Mr. Peterside recently set up the Anap Foundation COVID-19 Think Tank. Mr. Peterside informs the Board that his resignation is to enable him to focus fully on fulfilling the objectives of the Think Tank especially as the pandemic continues to escalate. The resignation takes effect on the 1st of April, 2020.

Mr. Peterside joined the Board on the 21st of August, 2008 and served as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and subsequently the Governance Committee during his time on the Board.
