Viju Industries (Nigeria) Ltd., manufacturers of the highly trusted Viju Milk brand, has reaffirmed its leadership in community development by reaching and empowering over 2,000 institutions and organisations across the country through its 2025 end-of-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
Brand News Day Nigeria understands that this major expansion—up from 1,000 beneficiaries in previous years—was announced by Mr Raphael Osiomwan, Corporate Manager of Viju Industries. He described the initiative as a demonstration of the company’s unwavering commitment to social impact, especially during a period when many organisations are scaling down due to economic challenges.
“At a time when economic realities are stretching businesses, Viju Industries has chosen to strengthen its support to communities,” Mr Raphael Osiomwan stated. “Our 2025 CSR outreach successfully reached more than 2,000 schools, religious centres, NGOs, community groups, media organisations, and other institutions across Nigeria. This reflects our core belief that giving back is not seasonal—it’s part of who we are.”
Mr Raphael Osiowman noted that Viju Milk remains one of the most reliable, nutritious, and widely consumed beverages in the Nigerian market. The company’s ability to maintain quality and affordability—even in challenging economic conditions—has strengthened trust among families, schools, and institutions.
“What sets Viju apart is our consistency,” he said. “We continue to produce high-quality, nourishing products at consumer-friendly prices. This is why Viju Milk remains a preferred choice for millions. Our CSR efforts are an extension of that commitment to the welfare of Nigerians.”
This year’s outreach distributed thousands of cartons of BB Star Milk Drink and other V-Cool CSD to beneficiaries across the states and their environment. Students also received writing materials, gift packs, and other educational items, creating a festive, fun-filled environment during the events.
The initiative not only provided nutrition but also reinforced the company’s longstanding commitment to education, health, and community development.
Mr Raphael Osiomwan emphasised that the programme goes beyond donations:
“We visit these institutions to understand their needs and provide targeted support. The feedback has been tremendous. Schools, hospitals, and communities have continued to request partnerships because they see the impact.”
Despite the current economic landscape, Viju Industries has continued to expand its CSR programmes, setting an example of resilience, compassion, and corporate leadership.
“Our goal is simple—to stand with the people,” Mr Raphael concluded. “No matter the economic situation, we will continue to give back, support schools and communities, and remain a brand Nigerians can always rely on.”
Viju Industries is a leading manufacturer of quality food and beverage products in Nigeria, committed to excellence in production and passionate about community development. Through various CSR programmes, Viju continues to support education, health, and social welfare across the country.
