Helabet, a betting company, has been called out on social media over its refusal to pay an ambitious punter who won N50,000,000 (N50 Million).
BrandNewsDay Nigeria reports that a Twitter user, identified as FELIX (@MistaFelix_) took to his Twitter to call out one of the popular betting platforms in the country, Helabet to demand his money after efforts to withdraw were rejected for days.
In the same vein, Green Dragon (@brightutd) also tweeted saying, “For a bookie who is serious, 50M shouldn’t be an issue. Imagine @HelaBet, @helabetNG refused to pay a punter.. So you opened a business with the ideology of people not winning”.
Recalling the same experience, a Twitter user, Toyobobo (@toyosiolukayode) said, sometime in December last year, he won 950k and as of the time of filing this report payment is yet to be made.
