Johnson Adesola Ademola, the deputy bursar of Lagos State University (LASU), slumped and died inside one of Wema Bank’s banking halls after waiting for several hours to withdraw.

Brand News Day reports that the deputy bursar of LASU slumped and died while waiting for his turn to withdraw at the bank inside the campus on Monday 20 February 2023.

According to an eyewitness, Ademola died while queuing to withdraw N5,000 at a new generation bank on campus.

It was gathered that he had been in the queue as early as 6 am before he suddenly slumped.

He was rushed to the school’s hospital where he was confirmed dead.

His corpse has been deposited at the morgue.

Recall that Brand News Day Nigeria reported that an unknown customer slumped and died inside one of the Nigerian generational banks, First Bank while waiting in queue to withdraw his money.

BrandNewsDay reports that a yet-to-be-identified man has slumped and died at First Bank of Nigeria in Agbor, Delta State, South-South part of the country, after standing in a queue for several hours.

This online news platform understands that the unidentified man slumped and died inside the First Bank branch located in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

This is happening after the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele issued all Depositing Money Banks (DMB) to only give their customers N5000 since the beginning of the Naira redesign saga which has been a hit since January.
