Mr Eazi has announced his latest business initiative as he acquired a stake in the Gugulethu, Cape Town, South Africa-based basketball club, Cape Town Tigers.
BrandNewsDay reports that on Tuesday, 24 January 2023, the Creative and business visionary, multi-award-winning musician made this disclosure that he is happy to ”be part of the family.”
Mr Eazi made this known through the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, saying, ”I read that Jay’z got shares in an NYC basketball team! So I had to do my own to ff my mentor!!”
Established in 2019 and currently the reigning title holders of the South African National Championship with consecutive wins (2021 and 2022), Mr Eazi attributes his latest acquisition as being inspired by his mentor Jay-Z
Currently in South Africa on business, Mr Eazi expresses: “The Cape Town Tigers @CapeTownTigers are the best basketball team in Africa. I’m honoured to be part of the family. See you at the next game!”
