PHOTOS: Wike, Peter Obi, Obasanjo, Others Meet In London

On Thursday in London, Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, and Peter Obi, the candidate for president of the Labour Party, met with Olusegun Obasanjo.

Even though details were still sketchy at the time this report was filed, BRANDNEWSDAY learnt that the meeting was a part of discussions leading up to the 2023 presidential election.

Among Wike’s allies present at the meeting were Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, Samuel Ortom, Okezie Ikpeazu, the governor of Abia State, and Donald Duke, the former governor of Cross River State.

According to information gathered by BRANDNEWSDAY, Wike will also meet with Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party later today in London.
