Obidents Are Everywhere, They’re Endow With Ideas, Vision – Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation and prominent member of the All Progressive Congress, has acknowledged that Mr. Peter Obi’s supporters are widespread and have been spotted all over the country.

The “Obidients,” according to him, have vision and ideas. Fani-Kayode warned the two major political parties, the PDP and APC, to play their cards very carefully.

Fani-Kayode advised his party members to be humble and embrace Obidients in order to address their individual problems in his article titled “Who are these Obidients?”.

Recall that questions about Obi’s political system have been raised by numerous political parties. Some have claimed that Obi only appears on social media.

Fani-Kayode, however, asserted that “I see them among my employees and among people that see themselves as being among the disadvantaged and afflicted,” in response to their hypothetical submission. They are among the professionals, including bankers, attorneys, doctors, and artists.

“The North, West, East, and South are where I see them. They are not simply on social media; I see them everywhere.

“I see them as being a very powerful and potent rising force which, if properly managed, will develop into a major political power over the next few years with a strong ideological and electoral foundation and massive structures.

“That is the potential that they have and that is how dangerous they can be. The sooner those of us that are in the larger political parties get off our high horses, display a little humility, try and understand their mindset, reach out to them, take them more seriously, appreciate their anger, restore their hope, make the necessary concessions and try and abate their rage and rising angst the better it will be for us all.

“They may not have today but if we do not play our cards right they may end up having tomorrow.
