BrandNewsDay reports that Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has insisted that striker Gabriel Jesus was disappointed after scoring a brace in the Gunners’ Premier League 4-2 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.
Arteta said that Jesus should have scored four goals against Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal defeated Leicester City, thanks to a brace from Gabriel Jesus and a goal each from Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli.
James Maddison did the score for Leicester, while William Saliba scored an own goal.
Speaking after the match, Arteta said at his post-match press conference: “We know what Gabi [Gabriel Jesus] can do.
“He scored two and got two assists and is still disappointed because he thinks he should have scored four. You need that mentality to go to the top.”
Jesus will hope to continue his impressive display for Arsenal when they face Bournemouth in their next match on August 20.
