UTME 2022: JAMB To Release First Batch Of UTME Results 2022 On Monday

JAMB To Release First Batch Of UTME Results 2022 On Monday, details can be accessed below.

Brand News Day Nigeria reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said results from the first batch of candidates who wrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday and Saturday will be out this week, from Monday.

JAMB’s Head, Public Affairs and Protocols (PAP), Dr Fabian Benjamin, who confirmed this on Saturday, declined to give further details.

It was however gathered that the Board would start releasing the results on Monday or Tuesday.
Benjamin said the checking of the UTME and Direct Entry results would follow similar processes adopted by the Board last year.

He said this was done to avoid fraudsters from compromising the result checking processes.

The examinations, which are being conducted in 750 CBT centres approved by the Board, will end on May 16, 2022.

2022 UTME: JAMB System Glitches Shuts Out Candidates In Lagos, Ogun states respectively, can be accessed below.

Brand News Day reports that multitude numbers of candidates who registered for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in Lagos and Ogun states were left stranded and frustrated on Friday morning at some centres as a downpour and system glitch disrupted their examination.

This online newspaper platform understands that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board-organised examination began in some 750 accredited centres nationwide, with 1.7 million candidates registered to participate.

In centres monitored in Lagos and Ogun, candidates scheduled for the first session at 7 am were mostly affected by system glitches and downpours.

One of the candidates in Ogun who spoke with Newsmen lamented that over 200 of them were unable to write the annual exam because of technical issues.

UTME News 2022: JAMB Issues Strong Warning To All 2022 UTME Candidates, details can be accessed below.

BrandNewsDay Nigeria reports that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned candidates writing the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to ensure punctuality as it would not alter its timetable for any candidate.

The Board’s High Power Opinion Leader (HPOL), Mr Abdur-Rahman Balogun, issued the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) after monitoring the exercise in Abuja on Friday.

JAMB started UTME 2022 for 1,761,338 candidates that successfully registered for the examination in 755 registered computer-based centres.
