Brand News Day Nigeria reports that NPower Management through NASIMS made this disclosure, noting that it has reinitiated the NPower payment of October and November stipends payment to affected beneficiaries.
According to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq, the N-Skills programme targets marginalized and disadvantaged populations, including those with primary or no-formal education.
It would be recalled that since the notable scheme was transferred to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development from the office of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in October 2020, complaints of recurrent delay in NPower stipends payment have been registered.
This online news platform understands that the management made this known via a post on its official Instagram handle on Saturday afternoon, January 29th, 2022.
According to the post obtained by Brand News Day Nigeria, the affected beneficiaries are gradually getting paid.
Recall that Brand News Day Nigeria had reported that some NPower beneficiaries are finding it difficult to access their NPower October Stipend Payment login, showing an error, saying, ‘Npower No Payment Data Available Issue‘ under the payroll section.
NASIMS has told NPower Beneficiaries what to do if payments status under the payroll section is showing the “NO PAYMENT DATA AVAILABLE”.
The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) appealed to beneficiaries to keep calling the numbers provided and not to send in any email.
“If however, our helplines are irresponsive when you call, please keep calling or try back at intervals and DO NOT SEND EMAIL.
Note: Payment of September stipend is still ongoing. All qualified Beneficiaries will definitely be paid, be patient. Continue Reading, Read Post, HERE.
