In the Just concluded match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria vs Tunisia, many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their pain over the Giant of Africa’s defeat.

It’s a silent moment for many Nigerians on Sunday night as the Super Eagles’ shine was brought to shadowed by The Eagles of Carthage of Tunisia. The Super Eagles, after weeks of thrilling the nation in stunning styles in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

Nigeria’s side has maintained a clean sheet in the group stage being the only African country to win all three matches in the group stage. However, the high hopes of Nigerians winning the AFCON were cut-short in its prime as Super Eagles lose guard lost focus in the early minutes of the second half. Leaving room for The Eagles of Carthage of Tunisia’s captain Wahbi Khazri to score a fantastic goal.

As a corollary, many Nigerian took to the popular Micro-blogging platform to point fingers at the President for being the source of misfortune to the Super Eagles instead of a source of inspiration.

A Twitter user said, ”Buhari has carried his bad luck to Super Eagles. We won’t win this AFCON. It’s official”.

According to a Twitter User, @HenrySheild, he tweeted, ”May Buhari never call you”.

@ViolenceAspic said, ”Immediately Buhari call those boys I know say Wahala don dey #Nigeriavstunisia

Another tweep user @Reno Omokri said, Iwobi red card, Iheanacho yellow card. All the time they have been playing this never happened. Why is it that it is the day they spoke to Buhari that these series of unwelcome events rained on us! Energies are very contagious. Avoid negative people.
