In the Just concluded match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria vs Tunisia, many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their pain over the Giant of Africa’s defeat.

It’s a silent moment for many Nigerians on Sunday night as the Super Eagles’ shine was brought to shadowed by The Eagles of Carthage of Tunisia. The Super Eagles, after weeks of thrilling the nation in stunning styles in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

Nigeria’s side has maintained a clean sheet in the group stage being the only African country to win all three matches in the group stage. However, the high hopes of Nigerians winning the AFCON were cut-short in its prime as Super Eagles lose guard – lost focus in the early minutes of the second half. According to a Twitter User, @HenrySheild, he tweeted, ”May Buhari never call you”.

Another tweep user @Reno Omokri said, Iwobi red card, Iheanacho yellow card. All the time they have been playing this never happened. Why is it that it is the day they spoke to Buhari that these series of unwelcome events rained on us! Energies are very contagious. Avoid negative people.
