Unilever Lauds Jumia Nigeria, Acknowledges Its ‘Strategic Partnership’

Unilever has named Jumia Nigeria, Africa’s leading e-commerce platform as the Best Logistics Partner in 2021 over its last-mile logistics strategy to improve turnaround.

Brand News Day Nigeria reports that Unilever Nigeria, a multinational company with operations cutting across nutrition, hygiene, and personal care has given Jumia Nigeria over its efforts.

The award recognizes Jumia’s efforts as a Unilever partner to develop and execute a last-mile logistics strategy to improve turnaround time for consumers in a wide geographical area in northern Nigeria.

Commenting on the development, Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Operations, Unilever Nigeria, Jeremiah Aloko said the company is impressed with the services rendered.

In his appreciation, Jumia Nigeria CEO Massimiliano Spalazzi noted that the platform is supported by three strategic pillars.
