CBN Appoints 8 New Departmental Directors

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on Wednesday, has appointed eight new directors across departments of the apex bank.

Brand News Day Nigeria confirms that the Apex bank made this known in a statement titled, ‘CBN names Nwanisobi, 7 others departmental directors’.

In the statement made available, it reads in part, “The management of the Central Bank of Nigeria has confirmed the appointment of Mr Osita Nwanisobi as the Director, Corporate Communications Department, with effect from August 25, 2021.”

Nwanisobi, who had operated in an acting capacity since October 2020, when his predecessor, Isaac Okorafor retired from service has been picked to replace him.

Moving on, Elizabeth Omolara Fasoranti is appointed as Director, Branch Operations; Abdulkadir Abdullahi Jibril as Director, Medical Services, and Rashidat Jumoke Monguno, who is now the director in the Consumer Protection Department (CPD) of the bank.

Other appointments include those of Amina Habib, as Director, Human Resources Department; Blaise Ijebor, Director, Risk Management; Chibuzo Anthony Efobi, Director, Financial Policy and Regulation and Benjamin Nnadi, as Director, Reserve Management.

The statement also disclosed that the appointments took effect from August 25.
