Showmax Takes Nigerian Idol, Other Popular Nigerian Series To Viewers Abroad

The African-based streaming service, ShowMax is bringing Nigerian Idol and other Nigerian series and movies to the diaspora audience.

The array of shows being made available to the diaspora audience include the record-breaking reality show I Am LAYCON, starring BBNaija winner Laycon Agbeleshe.

Interestingly, I Am LAYCON has been made available on Showmax in the UK to Nigerians living in the UK, as well as 25 more countries outside of Africa.

Moving forward, Showmax also recently announced that the sixth season of popular music reality shows Nigerian Idol which premieres on the 28th of March, 20201 will be streamed live online for viewers in the UK, as well as those in Australia and New Zealand.
