Edo Decides: Ize-Iyamu Dragged In Deputy Gov., Shaibu’s Polling Unit

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has suffered defeat at the polling unit of the incumbent Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.

Brandnewsday reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 401 votes while APC polled 148 votes in the ongoing  Edo State governorship election.

Shaibu, who is the running mate of PDP’s Governor Godwin Obaseki voted at Ward 11, polling unit 5 of Etsako West LGA.

This burgeoning media had earlier reported how Obaseki had humbled Ize-Iyamu in his Oredo Ward 4, Unit 19.
