UBA Reveals Reason 2020 Half Year Audited Results Is Delayed

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has disclosed that it is enduring a delay to publishing of its Audited Financial Statements for the Half Year ended June 30, 2020.

 

Brandnewsday gathers that UBA made this known in a statement made available to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), it stated that the board has approved the audited Financial Statements. Adding that it hoped to be in a position to file the accounts by close of business on or before September 29, 2020.

Speaking further, the bank, however, disclosed that this is “subject to final regulatory approval.”

“United Bank for Africa Plc (the Bank) hereby notifies the Nigerian Stock Exchange (the Exchange), its esteemed shareholders, stakeholders and the investing public of the delay in the filing of its Audited Financial Statements for the Half Year ended June 30, 2020, within the extended regulatory filing deadline as the Audited Financial Statements are still undergoing necessary regulatory approvals.”

“However, the Bank is optimistic that the Audited Financial Statements will be submitted to the Exchange on or before September 29, 2020.”
