BBNaija‘s former housemate, Khafi Kareem has been removed from the Pepper Dem WhatsApp group, shortly after she expressed dissatisfaction over how Ella was treated and style of the reunion.
Brandnewsday gathered that Khafi who reacted to the exhibition of how her former housemate was disgraced on a public space had been rewarded by the group with a sharp removal from the Pepper Dem reunion WhatsApp group.
Some of the ex-housemates on Monday night attacked Ella of chasing clout and not being honest concerning her mother’s health.
Reacting to that development from the housemates, Ella broke down in tears. Thus ignited many reactions across social media that she shouldn’t have been bashed on a public space.
Meanwhile, this didn’t go down well with the former metropolitan officer as she took to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter on Tuesday to express her displeasure on how the ex-housemates attacked Ella on air.
Khafi further disclosed that she has ceased from uploading a diary session in response to BBNaija Reunion. She affirmed that the show meant for entertainment was becoming toxic.
She said, “I have decided I will not be uploading a diary session in response to BBNaija Reunion.”
According to her, “I just finished watching yesterday’s episode and I’m totally disgusted by how Ella was treated and what was permitted in light of such a sensitive situation.”
Speaking further Khafi stated that despite the fact that the Big Brother Naija is a reality TV show for viewers, housemates must remember that they are dealing with people with feelings and emotions.
“Depression and suicidal thoughts are real and can easily be triggered by this pack mentality gang up and bullying that has been exhibited on the show,” she said.
According to her, “No matter how good people look or dress on the outside, it means nothing if our hearts are hardened towards our fellow human beings, and we lack empathy and respect towards ourselves.
Khafi tweets further read: ”I stand for light and love and I genuinely believe in being good to one another, even if we don’t get it right all the time.
“However, Some participants on this show are routing for the complete opposite and I will not encourage such behaviour by engaging in it.
“This being said, I will no longer be commenting or responding to anything said on the show.
“Every single housemate has my number and it is in the WhatsApp group the same, aka “safe space” that resulted in shaming someone on national television yet not one person who has aired a grievance had picked up the phone to call me to discuss any ill feelings they had towards me beforehand, knowing full well I would not be present on the show.
“This is despite the fact that myself and these persons have previously spoken on the phone jovially & would smile upon seeing me in public, assuring me that all had been forgiven & “what happened in the house stays in the house”.
She disclosed that despite the WhatsApp group was described as a “safe space” group, yet some of the housemates took advantage of the reunion show to unleash their hatred that they have been harbouring toward her.
The BBNaija former housemate said she had moved on even as many have talked behind her back. She described her stay at the BBNaija 4 PepperDem edition as a ‘fantastic time’, stating that she had moved on.
“May we all be known for the good that we left behind, not the bad. I hereby wish everyone well,” she said
Meanwhile, a few hours after Khafi Kareem made her stance on the unhealthy relationship BBNaija 4th edition she was removed.
Reacting to her removal, she said: “Lol, I have just seen that I’ve been removed from the WhatsApp group.
“ Thanks for saving me the trouble guys,” she added.
